Sympathies: Noonan Family

Killeedy GAA & Camogie Clubs would like to express our deepest condolences to the Noonan Family on the death of Fr. Noonan, funeral mass takes place at 12.30pm in Raheenagh church. May he rest in Peace.


Note: We will not be commencing Day 1(Thurs 13th) of Gorm agus Bán 6 until 2.30pm


The weeks’ Results:

Wednesday 5th July: U8s football blitz in Ballyahill. Won all their 3 Matches

Thursday 6th July: U11s were invited to play in Dromcollogher. Killeedy: 3-2 V Drom/Broadford: 1-6

Friday 7th July: West Junior A Hurling Championship. Killeedy: 1-22(25) V Croagh Kilfinny: 0-8(8)

Sunday 9th July: West Junior B Hurling Championship. Feohanagh: 0-18 V Killeedy 0-10

Another impressive performance from our U8, this time in Football. Winning all three matches at last Wednesdays’ U8 Football Blitz at Gerald Griffins in Ballyahill.

Monday 10th:  Well done to our u8 boys last night, beating Granagh Ballingarry in both games. This bunch of lads are unbeaten so far this year..



Killeedy/Tournafulla with the support of some older U8, fielded two teams at last Saturdays’ U10 hurling blitz in Knockaderry.







An army arrived to make up numbers for the U10 blitz and went on to win their own battle. Well done

Killeedy U11 Hurling Team played Drom Broadford in Dromcollogher on Wednesday 5th July 2017. The final score was 3-2 to 1-6 to Killeedy.

Gorm agus Bán 6

Change Notice:: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Gorm agus Bán 6 times on Thursday 13th will be moved to a 2.30pm start and finish at 6pm. No change to Friday 14th and Saturday 15th July. We are really looking forward to another fantastic camp.


The Health & Wellbeing Committee are promoting Healthy Eating and Orfhlaith Kelleher (H&WB member) will be showing young people to make healthy snacks


The Health & Wellbeing committee are also promoting Healthy Eating with the adults helping in the Camp on Thursday and Friday, showing a good example for the young people. Saturday will be a treat day for all!

Couch to 5K / Walk to 5K:

Final Night of Couch to 5K is on tonight Wednesday 12th July from 7pm-8pm in Raheenagh. All levels of fitness / abilities. New people welcome. Thanks to our Leaders Katy and Maeve from Limerick Sports Partnership and to Mairead Fitzgerald for organising the Event.

Anyone who is unable to pay on Saturday, please contact Cecilia on 0871214920 to secure your place. Final numbers have to be given to Adventure World Summer Camp on Saturday.
